Isn't this adorable?! I love the picture of them holding hands and walking down the street. These layouts were made by my new Creative Team gal, Anita using my School Days Kit. I am very impressed with her work!
Her non-square layouts have inspired me. Now I'm curious - what sizes do you create? I have to admit I have used the traditional 12x12 because I like a lot of room to spread out! I was like that with my paper scrapbooking as well and I thought that would improve with digital, but it hasn't! For wall art I have created 8x10 pages and I'm considering an 11x8 album for my heritage books. It would be nice to hear from you what you have decided to use. Happy Scrapping.

Theresa, this is a wonderful kit to work with - I know I will use it for more layouts!!
ReplyDeleteI usually scrap 12x12 (I'm like you - I like the room - lots more possibilities for layouts), but my cousin & I are working together on a family heritage album (she has lots of wonderful pictures!), and she liked the idea of the 8.5x11 album. A number of places will print them (Viovio.com & Inkubook both do); I've had one section printed as a book, and like it very much. But - I'm still really a 12x12 scrapper!
I started out paper scrapbooking on 8.5 x 11, but once I switched to digital, I found that size constraining. I scrap 12 x 12, but print at 8 x 8. I love the small albums - they fit on my shelves so neatly and I think they're just easier to hold as you page through them.
