English Garden Add On Kits

It started with the English Garden April Designer Collab - and I loved the palette and theme so much, that I had to keep on going!

Here you can see the elements in the collab portion.

And these are the background papers.

So, then I kept going and created an Add On Kit.

Elements including roses and greenery to build boquets and clusters.

As I worked on the papers I thought about my Grandma Hopkins who LOVED anything pink and definitely loved roses.  I have a pink Queen Elizabeth bush planted in the front garden in her memory.

Here are the frame elements.  I've included a lot of different options, including two clusters.

More of the papers.  I really liked the blue and pink together.

Gold pedigree Chart templates to mix and match with your papers.

Green and rose colored papers for variation.

And of course some journaling elements to help you document the story behind your photos.

After all that, I naturally had to see how they all worked together so I made a Quick Page package and had a lot of fun.

I added some of my photos so you could envision how they would be used.

Naturally these work well with more feminine photos, but in addition to heritage, I think they will work well for Mother's Day, weddings and garden photography.

I think it would be only fitting if I make some pages with these kits about my Grandmother.  These photographs all document the female sides of my Hopkins line.

This is my oft mentioned Grandmother, Holly Tisdale Hopkins.  I will fill in the genealogy data on my personal copy.

Hopefully English Garden and all the add ons from myself and the other designers, will inspire you to get scrapping!   Through the month of April, the add ons will be 25% off. Thank you for stopping by to see.

English Garden April Designer Collaboration Kit

Here is my portion of the  English Garden April Designer Collaboration Kit at Heritage Scrap.  One of my favorite parts of an English garden are the heirloom roses, so I focused my portion on that.

Idgie's Heartsong made some lovely garden furniture and in the store you can see further previews showing the lovely alphabet.

How could I not like ADB Designs portion?  She included Forget-Me-Nots!  She is a new designer at our store, well worth checking out.

When I saw the papers in Pamela Rose Designs' kit, I was reminded of the lovely papers from Jean Daugherty, of blessed memory.  You'll have to check out the previews.  There are beautiful lilacs.

Starsong Studios was inspired by roses too, I believe.  I think ours go well together!

DigiScraps is another new designer in the store.  Check out her kits.  For her portion, she added  greenery and other types of garden elements that compliment the others.

We were privileged to have our 'fearless leader' Kate McClellan, join us on this collaboration.  She needs to find more time for designing because this is absolutely lovely!

All of the collaboration portions will be available for $2.50 for the month of April 2012 and you can find the whole collection available here.
